route rules
As you can see at the top of your screen, we have a map of the Inula Region! This is very important. While we do flow on liquid time, so you can be in more threads than one and it's never any one time of day, we do always have a current location of our characters. You can start off at any city that you wish, but you must travel logically. We have six rules.
1) You must start of in a town.
2) To travel to a new town, you must use a route. If you are in Newport Town and want to get to Oeakleaf Town, you must first have one thread on Route 3 and have it exceed one page. This applies to any route. You do not need a thread in a town to pass through it. If you are in Sayron Town town and want to get to Cloudyshore City without stopping in any other towns, you must have three one page threads, one of them on Route 4, one of them on Route 5, and the last on Route 6. It is suggested to travel with another character to make it easier to get the page.
3) Are you traveling alone without other characters? Is no one replying to your thread? Do you not want to rp one page? We have a solution for you! Instead of you doing that, you can make a 300+ word post of your character battling and catching a Pokemon. Please refer to this thread for guidelines for catching Pokemon. Also, do NOT be constantly catching Pokemon to get through routes. You are only allowed 6 Pokemon.
4) You must follow the rules when it comes to catching Pokemon. If you are in Lamos Village and want to catch an Electric Type Pokemon, you must travel to Route 6. This would mean having traveling all the way across the region by having 5 1-paged threads in Routes 7, 3, 1, 4, and 5.
5) To get to Maplewood City, you must have a one paged thread on a ferry at the Ferry station in Lamos Village. If no one is replying to your thread after a little while, you will be allowed to just be in Maplewood City. This works vice versa, with the way to get to Lamos Village from Maplewood City being that you must have a thread in the Ferry Station in Maplewood City. The same system works for the Pokemon League, but you may only go there if there is a challenge going on (unless you are a Gym Leader, a member of the Pokemon League, or if you are invited there).
6) Gym Leaders and members of the Pokemon League are allowed to disregard the traveling rules ONLY IF they must get back to their gym or arena for a challenge. After the challenge they may be back where they were before if they so choose.
